この出会いは、娘がひとりでカウアイ島を訪れた時、バスの中で偶然出会ったことから始まり「美味しいパン屋さんがあるよ」そんな何気ない会話から繋がったご縁。
何年もこのギャラリーは知っていたけれどこんなご縁にびっくり♡
その後、私たち親子は再びそれぞれカウアイを訪れ、Marta’s Boatで再会しました。
その日のうちに一緒にARTを描き、美味しいお茶や果物を囲みながら、特別な時間を過ごしお互い自由にARTを描き最高な時間を共有
お互いのARTを見せ合い、文化や人生、ALOHAについてたくさん語り合いました。
そして、「またカウアイで会おうね」そんな約束を交わしながら いつも素敵なARTをシェアできる私にとってARTの大先輩にALOHAを込めて想いを募らせています
今では、私たち親子にとってカウアイ島の大好きな場所のひとつです そして次のカウアイでのARTミッションも考えるだけでもワクワク( *´艸｀)

This beautiful connection began when my daughter visited Kauai alone and happened to meet someone on a local bus.
“There’s a delicious bakery nearby.”
That simple conversation became the beginning of a very special connection.
I had known about this gallery for many years, but I never imagined that such an unexpected and beautiful encounter would bring us together♡
Later, both my daughter and I returned to Kauai separately and reunited again at Marta’s Boat.
That same day, we painted ART together, shared delicious tea and fresh fruit, and spent a truly unforgettable time together.
Freely creating art side by side,sharing peaceful moments,and simply enjoying the aloha spirit around us.
We shared our artwork,talked deeply about culture, life, creativity, and ALOHA.
“Let’s meet again in Kauai.”
With that promise in our hearts,I continue to send my love and gratitude to this wonderful senior artist who always shares beautiful ART and inspiration with me.
Now,Marta’s Boat has become one of the most special places for both my daughter and me on Kauai Island.
And just thinking about our next Kauai ART mission already fills us with excitement ✨
